Affiliation Neutrality

  • Big Frog Nation is an independent, non-political community built around jiu-jitsu, connection, and shared experiences.
  • Big Frog Nation is not an affiliation, governing body, or association.
  • Participation in Big Frog Nation does not replace, alter, or interfere with any member's existing academy membership, team affiliation, lineage, or instructor relationship.
  • We welcome members, academies, and ambassadors from all teams, affiliations, lineages, and backgrounds.
  • Our strength comes from respecting the diversity of the jiu-jitsu community while uniting around our shared mission: Train. Travel. Belong.

Mutual Respect

  • All members, academies, ambassadors, and guests are expected to respect the identities, affiliations, instructors, traditions, and cultures of other academies within Big Frog Nation.
  • Differences in team affiliation, lineage, training philosophy, or competitive focus should be viewed as opportunities to learn and connect — not as reasons for division.

Non-Solicitation & Professional Conduct

  • Do not recruit or solicit students from another academy within the network.
  • Do not use Big Frog Nation events, retreats, seminars, or member relationships to gain an unfair business advantage.
  • Do not encourage members to leave their current academy.
  • Do not disparage, undermine, or publicly criticize another academy, instructor, affiliation, or member.
  • Do not engage in academy politics, gossip, or conduct that creates division within the community.
  • Academy owners maintain full ownership of their businesses, students, branding, and relationships.
  • Participation in Big Frog Nation is intended to strengthen existing academies and communities — not compete with them.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.
  • Physical violence outside the normal scope of training and competition.
  • Bullying, hazing, or abusive behavior.
  • Sexual misconduct or unwanted advances.
  • Hate speech or discriminatory conduct.
  • Fraudulent or dishonest behavior.
  • Excessive disruption, hostility, or repeated disrespect.
  • Misrepresentation of rank, lineage, affiliation, or credentials.
  • Conduct that endangers the safety or well-being of others.
  • Repeated attempts to exploit member benefits or circumvent membership policies.
  • Actions that damage the reputation, integrity, or culture of Big Frog Nation.

Drop-In Policy

  • The All Access drop-in benefit is intended for traveling members and temporary visitors.
  • Members agree not to use the program to avoid supporting local academies or to repeatedly train at nearby schools without becoming paying members.
  • Partner Academies maintain the right to establish reasonable policies regarding frequency of visits, residency requirements, and member access.

Reporting Concerns

  • Members are encouraged to report concerns involving safety, misconduct, or violations of this Code of Conduct to a Big Frog Nation representative or Academy Ambassador.
  • Reports will be handled respectfully and confidentially whenever possible.

Enforcement

  • Big Frog Nation reserves the right to review, investigate, and address potential violations of this Code of Conduct.
  • Consequences may include verbal or written warnings, temporary suspension of benefits, removal from events or activities, revocation of academy status, or termination of membership without refund.
  • All decisions regarding participation in Big Frog Nation are made at the sole discretion of Big Frog Nation leadership.

Our Commitment

Big Frog Nation exists to create opportunities for people to train together, travel together, and belong to something bigger than themselves.

We believe jiu-jitsu is strongest when mutual respect outweighs affiliation and relationships matter more than politics.

No matter where we train or who we train under, we are united by a shared commitment to community, integrity, and lifelong learning.

Train. Travel. Belong.
