JCI 4: A Night of Champions

JCI 4: A Night of Champions features seven JCI World Championship bouts and a special featured matchup between JCI veteran Tim Shelton and UFC Hall of Famer Clay “The Carpenter” Guida. Streamed free worldwide on YouTube, JCI continues to deliver elite submission-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to a global audience while creating meaningful exposure opportunities for athletes, sponsors, and partners. This championship card brings together elite talent from across the United States and Japan, with competitors whose résumés include the UFC Hall of Fame, UFC, UFC BJJ, Dana White’s Contender Series, PFL, DEEP Japan, and high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition. The result is one of the deepest and most accomplished fields ever assembled for a JCI event. Among the featured storylines, UFC Hall of Famer Clay Guida returns home to compete in front of the fans who watched him begin his legendary career on the Chicagoland MMA scene. UFC veteran Ashley Yoder challenges reigning flyweight champion Tayla Meredith in Meredith’s first JCI World Championship defense. Japanese champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Shooto Watanabe travels from Japan to challenge bantamweight champion Joey Diehl, while reigning featherweight champion and UFC BJJ standout Rafa Ferreira defends his title against Mando Gutierrez, whose résumé includes Dana White’s Contender Series, PFL, DEEP, and other premier MMA organizations. With seven JCI World Championships on the line, nationally and internationally recognized athletes, and free worldwide distribution on YouTube, JCI 4 continues to establish the Jeff Curran Invitational as one of the premier destination events for elite submission-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition.
