Early registration is live for the 12th Annual Jiu-Jitsu Retreat in beautiful Cocoa Beach, Florida — February 4–7, 2027.

Jeff Curran leads the training alongside a crew of black belt instructors, bringing top-tier jiu-jitsu and an unforgettable experience to the mat. Attendance is capped (20 fewer than last year) for more mat space and a better training environment. Every registered attendee receives a custom rash guard and jersey free with registration.

Schedule

Thursday, Feb 4

  • 12:00 PM — Early-arrival open mat (No-Gi)
  • 3:30 PM — Check-in
  • 5:00 PM — Instructional (No-Gi)
  • 6:30 PM — Open mat (No-Gi)

Friday, Feb 5 – Sunday, Feb 7

  • Full training days — Gi & No-Gi instructionals, open mats, beach party & group photo

Location & Lodging

Our home base once again is the Beachside Hotel & Suites in Cocoa Beach.

When booking, call the front desk directly and mention Group Code: BJJ RETREATS to reserve through our courtesy room block. Please avoid third-party sites like Expedia, Priceline, or Booking.com.

Cancellation Policy

  • On or before December 31st: cancellations are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
  • On or after January 1st: no refunds will be issued.

To cancel, send a written request to bigfrog145@me.com.

Rollover option (preferred): rather than cancelling, you may roll your registration over to the following year at no charge.

Medical & military exception: in the event of a serious medical condition, an injury that limits your ability to attend, or deployment for medical assistance or military duty, you will only be charged a $15 service charge in place of the $100 fee. You may also choose to roll over to the next event.

This event sells out and people cannot make last-minute plans — please respect this policy; it helps keep the camp affordable for everybody. Thank you!
