About the Academy
Bushin Martial Arts Academy is a family-owned dojo serving the greater Williamsburg, Virginia area since 2008. Bushin teaches self-defense-based Gracie Jiu-Jitsu under the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association and is a proud Team Curran affiliate.
The academy believes that being a well-rounded martial artist cannot be accomplished by learning technique alone, weaving traditional martial arts principles into every class. Programs include Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced adult Jiu-Jitsu, Women's Self-Defense, and children's classes for ages 5–13 — no prior martial arts experience required.
